Give priority to make breakthroughs using cutting-edge high technologies for extraction, separation and purification of herbal active ingredients for nutritional and pharmaceutical utilization and commercialization.
---Deep processing of Forest Products. Rationally develop and utilize non-wood forest resources, establish commercial forest and bamboo processing facilities. Develop bamboo pulp, bamboo related products and paper printing, increase production of high and medium class papers and paper-related products.
---Deep processing of Silk & Ramie. Give top priority to fully utilize the traditional advantages of breeding of mulberry silkworm and ramie planting in order to increase the production and quality of natural fiber materials, such as cocoons, hemp and cotton. Proactively support R & Ds for new type fibers such as mulberry fiber and ramie fiber, and vigorously promote industrialization of new featured silk and hemp fibers.
